A quick sunset visit to the Venice Florida Public Fishing Pier. A huge school of mullet show up to spawn and then a big dolphin comes in for a snack. Some beautiful pigeons take a drink at a cleaning table and a dude snags some mullet for his dinner table.

  • If I had to do it all over again, I would have settled in SW Fl. North Fl is fun too but it's getting awfully damn cold here in the winters now that AlGore has discovered Global Warming.

  • @joesphx19 I think North Florida is beautiful with it's mountainous terrain ;) The pier in this video is probably the highest public point of elevation for 50 miles (the lofty peaks of the public landfill might be higher LOL!) Even if it is pancake flat down here I do love the area with all it's natural treasures.

  • @WHITECOYOTE65 I have similar questions. I know that early on in the Gulf oil disaster scientists found droplets of oil just under the shells of Gulf shrimp. Shrimp are near the bottom of the food chain and as a result those chemicals and compounds and synthetically engineered oil eating microbes end up concentrated in the higher food chain species that consume the lower food chain species. It gives me an uneasy feeling about harvesting seafood for my own consumption.
