My pet peeve is grammer and spelling... more specifically the people who can't help but correct other people's grammer... I'll admit I misspell grammer all of the time out of spite... I hate those mother fuc...
**breath**
In order to correct someone's grammer you imply that you understand what they were trying to say... don't correct them... just float on... why you trying to sink their boat? Fuck'n hypocrite you make mistakes all the time too you mother fuc....
**Breath***
What I'm saying is correcting people who just made a random mistake hinders communication more than their mistake... so do your part and facilitate communication don't throw up barriers...

  • "Asshole" is subjective. If I correct someone, they may think that I am an asshole. If however someone sends me incomprehensible garbage that they expect me to decipher because they are too lazy to put effort into using basic grammar in their writing, I may think of them as an asshole.

  • Great vid

  • Jonny Paula anyone????

  • @tonyGjr2(Cont'd) If the substance of someone's statements and/or questions are received within reason, it'd be a display of snobbery to delight in correcting them. Pretty soon, no one will want to talk with you if you're that person, & thus proficiency with any language will become a moot issue. That said, I will end my two cents with a disclaimer. There are times for colloquialisms & shorthand. The real test is knowing when & when not to use them. Youtube should be fairly lax though IMO.

  • To err is to be human, but to incessantly correct people smacks of being an asshole. Language morphs over time. The definitions, pronunciations & spellings of words aren't static. Case in point, the contemporary definition of villain is an evildoer. The word itself stems from villein. Villein comes from villanus, which plainly interpreted means a farmhand. Over time, it became synonymous with bad people. So yeah, the English language is ad hoc in the first place, so cut the crap will ya.

  • @destinystruth cuz r skul sistem so infeeror to yers n stoof ah are must bee stoopid

  • @destinystruth dat wut i jus dun did sed ROTFL

  • @destinystruth You made a big deal about it from the start. Yes you said you lost and I win, but it was said with sarcasm. Why do you regret bringing up grammar? Aren't you british people the ones who speak the most pure form of the language and I am some redneck in a trailer park somewhere in USA. cuz i are so dum n stoof

  • @GrammarGI Holy shit calm your tits, I shouldn't have even started on the topic of grammar with a dick wad like yourself. Like I said, I lose, you win. You're the grammar champion.

  • @destinystruth Oh, by the way, you start with the word "but" a lot. Starting with the word "but" is okay to do, but is informal and also looks like a mess when done too often. I am just throwing it out there to make you aware. By the way, whenever I correct someone, I almost always use proper grammar to do so. In addition, I would like to say that the only people I correct are the ones who make a big deal about it in the first place.
