- Better Globe is addressing many of the issues discussed in this clip and are as Dambisa Moyo here suggests, helping the poor individual farmers with productivity and different means of increasing profit. Through "Sustainable Charity with Interest" Better Globe is developing an economic interest in Africa and providing jobs to people that never before have collected a monthly salary. They also help to build schools through Child Africa and are working to prevent corruption by focusing on integrity and by giving away the book "Put Integrity First", written by the Better Globe CEO Rino Solberg.
After finishing secondary school, all Child Africa children will get a special education in: Integrity and Positive Thinking, Goal Setting, Self-Confidence Building, Human Relations, Success Principles, Entrepreneurship and finally How to Choose and Get a JOB.
"Sustainable Charity with Interest" is based on helping Africa through profitable business principles and Better Globe is now offering anyone worldwide to take direct action. As pointed out, 60 years of aid and good intentions from politicians have not produced any sustainable results; maybe it's time to make a radical change?
Join Better Globe and see how "Prosperity with Purpose" and "Sustainable Charity with Interest" provides effective solutions that help local communities out of poverty through building schools, providing jobs, offering low interest microfinance loans to poor famers and women, education, assistance in water management and farming techniques, preventing soil degradation, preventing desertification, securing future food production, improving local climate, preventing corruption, water sequestration and a host of other sustainable benefits.
African leaders and philanthropy experts all say that Africa needs investors and local economical development to find a way out of poverty. Better Globe has realized this and is now offering you to make a substantial impact on this new and sustainable development, learn more at: http://www.facebook.com/BetterGlobeAfrica
goverment aid in most african countries end up 'buried at private farms' owned by corrupt politicians.. in other words the money is embezzled or stolen by a greedy goverment officals and selfishly sqaundered.

I think one of her strongest points against the type of aid she's critical of was the affect it has on African leaders not feeling like they need to do much of anything to improve their countrys. Maybe the conditions for recieving aid need to be changed. Like a country can only recieve aid only after the gov't has presented it's own development plan along with putting it into action then aid will only go where it's needed for the country.

It takes this wonderful woman to stand up and say it as it is. So much truth that governments seem unwilling to acknowledge; that continual giving of money changes very little.
I look forward to the day all African nations can stand proud.

Finally someone who "gets it"
keep giving them money and they will only stand there with their hands out.
Fill their hands with tools
get them to school and into the work force.
