Goofing Off Suite theme

A demo of a long neck Ode (zeppmusic dot com/ubanjos.htm#odeln I loved this theme that Pete Seeger played on his 10-inch LP "The Goofing Off Suite," so I always play it on long necks. But, _he_ at least could whistle the couterpoint!

No, he recorded it twice on his eponymously named 10-inch LP; once capoed and once without. The Smithsonian has a sample of the recording, and you can presumably buy it there. Google "goofing off suite" theme and follow their link.

Well, Zepp, it helped that Pete was/is 6'3", and has arms like a baboon. Do you still have the home made banjo in your shop?

Part of the Opening Theme was used in the title sequence, but the yodeling is from Seeger's "Russian Folk Theme and Yodel" song from the Goofing off suite.

I did a bit more digging. They used a lot of the stuff inspired by Seeger's work in that film. Maybe Goofing off was part of it, but there were other things from the same album that Goofing Off is commonly featured on. I guess I can look up that album if you like :)
