Tres Pinos San Luis Obispo Tierra Blanca White Blend 2008 8.5 - James Melendez, James the Wine Guy

This white blend contains Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier and Gewürztraminer; a very well blended wine; no overly pronounced notes from any particular varietal; I expected some scented and floral notes but instead the wine gives notes of pineapple, guava and Meyer lemon zest. A good value. I go this at Trader Joes in San Francisco for $4.99. A very food friendly winegreat valuecan serve wtih food or as a stand-alone wine.
