@EpicToTheLimit The shooter was to the right of the camera and the deer was at an angle, so that shot placement was at the proper angle for a double lung shot.

does a crossbow count for archery season or for rifle?

@pyro4869 It's going to depend on the state you're in. Crossbows are now legal in Texas for the archery only season in most counties and are legal in Oklahoma for the archery season as well. In the past it was only legal for people unable to use traditional bows due to medical reasons but it seems that most states are becoming more receptive to crossbows for all hunters.
