2002 Volvo S60 T5 vs 2006 Infiniti G35 Coupe

2002 Volvo S60 T5 (auto) has custom 3" turboback exhaust with IPD Stage II tune without torque delete in 1st and 2nd gear. 2006 Inifinti G35 Coupe (auto) has a Bassani catback exhaust.

G35 gets the Volvo off the line despite the Volvo brake boosting. G35 was about half a car length ahead until about 70 mph when the Volvo hits third gear and all 20 lbs of boost kicks in and the Volvo pulls away.

Camera vehicle is a 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer SS with custom tune and Corsa exhaust.

the t5 gets a slow start and still wins.i have a s60 t5 running 300 bhp very under estimated car the t5

@JRWILDY i also have an s60 T5 running abuot 265 bhp and my buddies all call it an old mans car.. then they get in it.. opinion changes instantly.

@Glassesfbaby i made some mods on mine. :) i installed the white injectors(preparing to tune it) and i put a 3inch down pipe and it made a big difference. have you done any to yours?

@JRWILDY Most Volvos have a limiter in 1st and 2nd because the torque could be to much for the trans. In 3rd they are unlimited, they could win any rolling-start race!

Get a tune.  IPD, BSR, RICA, Google any of them. They make a HUGE difference.
