It is for iPT 2G & 3G. You might be able to fit a 1G in there... I havn't tried, but it's designed for 2g and 3g.

dude you do realize it doesnt have a volume switch only because its for the 1st generation ipod touch which doesnt have a volume switch

there is an on and off switch... I got one.... the silver outline is for the night cause It glows in the dark. I don't think you read the stuff.........
