Traditional Guarani Armadillo Trap

A traditional Guarani armadillo trap in Misiones, Argentina. According to custom, the location of a trap can only be used to catch up to three armadillos-- after that the trap must be moved. If any blood is spilled when the animal is killed the animal cannot be used for anything. (The trap is intended to kill the armadillo bloodlessly with a knock to the head.)
