8/18/2011 Cabrinha Kite Course Racing in San Francisco, sponsored by the St. Francis Yacht Club. At the start of the third heat, major kite tangle ensues. The action of one takes it's toll on eleven. Ultimately a five kite tangled mess.
Narration:
• Tom Gore moves kite around too much at time of start.
• Takes himself out on Jon Von Tesmar's kite. Tesmar ok. Gore capsized
• Headington goes down trying to avoid Gore, right above Due. Headington capsized
• Due starts turning around and avoids a collision with Gore.
• Cameron Biel does an emergency reverse avoiding Gore's kite. Biel capsized
• Due capsizes because forward motion stopped, nowhere to go. Due capsized
• Johnson capsizes trying to avoid Gore. Johnson capsized
• Chung capsizes when colliding, or trying to avoid Johnson. Chung capsized
• Chung and Johnson kites tangle.
• Due has reversed direction as a capsized boat, avoiding all kites.
• Kabil capsizes avoiding incident. Kabil capsized
• Herscher capsizes avoiding incident. Herscher capsized
• Loscocco capsizes avoiding collision with Due. Loscocco capsized
• Chung and Johnson kites tangle with Headington.
• Johnson kite loops around through lines of Due's kite.
• Chung's kite is down.
• Johnson's kite is down. Hitting Biel on head, who has been body dragging Leeward of Gore's kite.
• Headington's kite is down.
• Due's kite is down.
• Chung's kite relaunches, tomahawks down.

Obviously you have not raced competitively. Try it out sometime. It can be super fun and exhilarating.
