Contemporary Music composed by Rashid Brocca and performed by the Areon Flutes Ensemble.
This piece intends to represent the ancient Greek myth of Apolo and Marsias. Specifically the part of the tale When Masias agonizes after being defeated and slaughtered by Apolo.
The sound effects that appear recurrently have symbolic and narrative purposes.

  • Asi pues se le ocurre retar a Apolo que es el dios de la musica.. Despues de un duelo en que la flauta pierde contra la lira

    Apolo despelleja vivo a Marsias mientras este sigue tocando.

    En la pieza los efectos como el aire los suspiros y otras cosas tienen siempre esa intencion narrativa
