I talk about my upcoming gallbladder surgery and will document what I am doing to prepare and what I have been told the procedure will be like. I will continue to try and update post-surgery and what changes I will have in my life to help me to recover quickly.

  • @AmericanGirlDoll1997 I sent you a personal message sweetie!

  • What a lesson is nutrition and health. Wow - I find all of this fascinating.

I am so sorry that you're in pain and I hope your surgery goes well and you recover quickly. <33

  • I told my husband yesterday that I want him to record me coming out of recovery and also continue to record when I can't. I really want to show the process as much as possible. It has been hard for me to find good information from a personal perspective. Your support really helps!

    Thanks Shant!!

  • My sister had her gall bladder removed. If you have laposcropy your recovery will be amazingly quick . My sister became a vegan after surgery because her doctor said either lower her cholesterol through diet, or she would have to take Liptor. She was able to lower her cholesterol through not eating meat or dairy. I think other people will find your videos very comforting as they face the same issues. Good luck. Don't worry.

  • Thank you so much. I am hoping to continue eating the way I have recently. no flour, sugar, msg, aspartame, dairy.

I am also thinking about cutting out red meat after this. Thanks for the suggestion and I may end up down that road.

  • i hope your okay i went through the same thing in 2005 but i am still sick

  • i just got my gallbladder removed 3 days ago. the whole experience was something i never expected. The symptoms of gallbladder stones is outta this world. the pain is tremendous. i was rushed to the emergency room coz i cud not stand d pain no longer. Im now recovering from this operation (Laparoscopy). the pain is still there tho. i hope it goes away soon coz im sick of being in pain

  • I had my GB out last week and was home that afternoon with no problem at all. I had 2 stones the size of Golf Balls my surgeon said and my GB was inflamed so hoping I'll feel much better physically now as I'd had attacks for 6 yrs. I've had no pain as I have medicine and just some swelling around my naval.

  • My girlfriend is going to have one on Monday morning. She's going through the same thing. We're hoping that the hospital will use the Laparoscopic method instead of the other method. She's a kick-ass girl, but when it comes down to surgery, she gets all worked up and worried....LOL

But we're praying for her, as we are praying for all those who are going to go through the same procedure. God Bless and speedy recovery to you.

  • I hope you're doing well. I had my GB out in June 2007 (no stones, 12% function). Overall I guess it was a good thing, although I still have "attacks" depending on what I eat. Digestive enzymes really help.

    Best of luck to you!

  • I've been paying for you and i will continue too. Stay strong hun!

  • I will be thinking about you :)

  • u will be in my thoughts and prayers. glad you are getting it taken care of. <3
