Bafter, Oscar and Golden Globe winning playwright Anthony Minghella's Whale Music is about a woman who has to deal on her own with an unwanted pregnancy. She can have an abortion, have the child and raise it with the help of her lesbian school teacher friend or offer it up for adoption.
The play, though on a serious topic, is presented with what the New York Times describes as "a great deal of humor".
To be Performed at 'The Dukes' theatre in Lancaster from Wed 20th to Sat 23rd of January 2010 by the drama students from the University of Cumbria.

I played D in this as part of my A-levels. Six-woman play. It was awful though I did like D as a character.
