  • Borg is not even close. To say that Borg is close to Nadal is to imagine a different Borg than the 5'11", 160 pound Borg that actually existed. One with different stroke mechanics, a different game, and different approach to point construction. Yes, he was the state of the art clay courter of his time, but watch the videos. He was playing a completely different game. Not his fault and I'm sure he would be great today, but not as dominant, and he would have to be a different kind of player.

  • illogical and baselss comments dude..fed kicked ass in rome but still lost??m afraid but there is sumthing seriously wrong wid u! and talking abt style..everyone has his own style..dont xpect others to employ elegant style of pla so that they can impress ppl like u...no need for rafa to alter his sstyle of play..he does best what a player needs to do..kick sum ass and win matches..so go rafa go!!

  • Rafa is my favourite for sure...But i have to say Federer owns the title of Mr.Consistency for sure. They say last year was a bad year for him...but look, the man made 3 slam finals and won 1...quite amazing for someone who is off form....and also just realized he made all 4 slam finals this year and won 2...holymama..so in actual fact from 2008 to 2009 he only missed one final ..Anyways, I know Rafa will be back in 2010 faster & fitter. Good Luck 2 the 2 of the Greatest. Vamos Rafa!!

  • My all time pics:

    Grass: Sampras

    Clay: Nadal

    Hard: Federer

    Allround player: Federer

  • Lousy edit. You cut off the first five seconds.

  • You can't say Nadel was a better player than Borg..What if Bjorn had the same options into today's tennis world.. As Mac Enroe said recently Nadel and Bjorn are the greatest athletes to ever play the game. So Bjorn played from 1976 - 1981and walked at age 23 basically and never really played again, except he made a comeback at age 25 So he was 25 Years Old when he walked away from the game, there was not a better play in its day. Borg Brought Money into the game\

    Remember love 1980

  • Borg played at a different time , with a Woodie, the question is how would Rafael do in that age with a Woodie Racket?

It not how Bjorn would had done with the new and improve equipment they use in today game.I think the advantage would have been To Borg if could have ever played into today game.

To bad we will never know,

  • @iloveroxymay And you can think what you want. I just hope Nadal can get as many slams as he's able to while he's able to.

  • @AnimeIntroStyles4 Anyone would be tired playing three back to back tournaments. Think what you want, but rafa is currently dominating mens tennis right now no doubt about it. Rafa is now number one because he won the past three slams...not to mention Roger didn't get to the final of any.

  • @iloveroxymay No he's not. He lost against Melzer in Shanghai a few days ago and in the press conference used the word "tired" 5 times. Anyway I hope the best for him, but it's obvious that his play-style wares on his body, and I just hope that it doesn't stop him from having a long career.

  • @AnimeIntroStyles4 he's only been out with serious injury for the three or so months in 2009. yeah an injury every here and there, nothing big, but everyone has that. look at monfils, he plays the same kind of way rafa does just not as intense but he is still injured way more than rafa. but look at rafa now. he's healthier and fitter than he's EVER been. but the way he plays has definitely payed off because of all the success he's had. he's had more success than most players ever at his age.

  • @iloveroxymay And where do you think the Injury comes from? His playstyle will constantly get him injured. He's been injured maybe 3-4 times as much as Federer in half the time.

  • one year ago people were saying rafa is on the downhill and he's gonna have all these injuries. flash back of 2010 year, rafa has been perfectly fit and healthy, scheduled tournaments smarter, and he's been fresh all year. that is why he won three slams in a row. he's been dominating. this guy is smart. he knows what he's gotta do to win. he wants it more than anyone. so much respect to this guy. he brings a new level of intensity and excitement to tennis. i love watching him. vamos (:
