There are a lot of comments on this about Yorke apparently being unable to sing the way he used to, but I have to disagree, it's apparent that Yorke purposefully changes the way he sings as well as the band changes it's style, for people who say he cannot sing the way he used to, this is just untrue, he chooses to sing in a new way. I dare anyone to listen to the song 'Nude' or any live performance of that song and tell me that it isn't one of the greatest vocal performances in music.

perfect singing. Thom 94-98 was unbeatable
Radiohead is great to this day, but for a period of about 3 or 4 years, from '95 to '98, Thom Yorke was in some sort of artistic throes the likes of which I've never seen...he was utterly obsessed with the perfection of every note, and utterly absorbed by every note as well.
His voice today, isn't quite what it was in in his late 20's (seen here).
And he is happier, so dark songs like Lucky aren't as authentically performed.
For a time, Yorke was the most powerfule artist on earth.
