Discussion of Joseph Pietro Riolo's comment (http://handeyes.wordpress.com/2011/06/30/the-right-to-be...-deaf----who's...e-is-it-part-v/#comment-3731) in Patti Durr's blog, "The right to be.... Deaf -- whose choice is it? (Part V)" (http://handeyes.wordpress.com/2011/06/30/the-right-to-be...-deaf----who's...e-is-it-part-v/) in which he argues that a right to be Deaf could be turned around against Deaf people by Hearing parents and society. This logical argument does not bear out, as I show through other examples.
honestly, it seem that HEARING PEOPLE do not have the rights to leave their child deaf. They get chastised or guilt trips by other hearing parents all the time over it.
