Dalarna (Dalekarlien) ist eine historische Provinz (schwedisch landskap) im Herzen von Schweden.

Dalarna bedeutet „die Täler", was die waldreiche, hügelige Landschaft rund um den Siljansee und den Dalälven gut charakterisiert. Dalarna ist geprägt durch die Holzindustrie, die zentralen Regionen profitieren vom innerschwedischen Tourismus. Eine typische Veranstaltung der Region ist der Wasalauf, ein Skilanglauf von Sälen nach Mora.

Die Bewohner Dalarnas -- die Dalkarlar bzw. Masar (männlich) und Dalkullor (weiblich) -- sprechen den charakteristischen Dialekt Dalmål.

This is what all the nationalists in the northern regions of europe is fighting for ! - Our political leaders want to replace this with moské's and islam.. This nation among others where build by the blood and passion of the norse. Viking people .. Even at some points in history when the crusaders where fighting muslims, we loved and lived through our nature.

Not, through civil wars among brothers and we respected every living thing.
