Video report on pipe organ in redundant UK church for export to Malta

Assessment of pipe organ due for export to Malta for the reason that "Dissatisfied of Tunbridge Wells" doesn't appreciate life beyond materialism any more nor introducing children to any more than the here and now, paucity of education robbing them of eternal music in their hearts and leaving them only to riot and loot. Fine instruments such as this pipe organ are therefore lost by way of export to Malta if not merely demolished by bulldozer inside their buildings.

Apologies for sound quality here - I have left the CD quality audio recording in my machine left by accident in the church . . .

I am glad to hear it has a new home to go to but sad to hear it is going abroad.

I totally agree with what you say about the was our society is going, I wish someone knew the answer to it, not the place to discuss it here though.

@goodchappy I believe decline in enthusiasm for organs and decline in contact with church teachings as children and lack of perception of relevance of spiritual teaching and lack of school assemblies, and lack of knowledge of the Lord's Prayer and young people joining in with the mob rather than knowing what they stand for is all connected. Whilst voicing this is unpopular, I wrote on recent threads in Believer's Corner on the Organ Matters forum. It's relevant to organs & benefit to society.

sad to see another organ leave the UK, better than the local skip mind you.

sad to see this happen and gives little hope for the humble organs i use, this looks like a good instrument.
