a film about my dance and movement research during the time of my pregnancy. I was curious how my body and my movement will change during pregnancy. Stephanie Hanna filmed me every two weeks.The first part is a fixed sequence, which I used to see what I need to adapt with the bigger belly. The second part was improvised. Here I used the principles of Authentic Movement. I was listening to the inside of my body and to let the body express itself. The film is a journey through the different stages in pregnancy

  • do you do any exercises to protect your belly?

  • This research project was to see what kind of movement unfolds, what changes during pregnancy. So I was not doing special exercises, although I was dancing and moving a lot until my daughter was born. Especially this project was to listen to the inside to see what kind of movement wants to come, so I only did movements that felt safe. I don´t want other to copy my movement but to listen to the inside allow a dialogue with the baby and let the body unfold his own communication with the baby.

  • @heikethecoolwoman that is great what you wrote and makes so much sense, i wanted to know though did you eat a lot of food to feed and support your baby?

    and would someone massage your belly to calm your baby down if it kicked a lot, or if by listening to the inside and allowing a dialogue with the baby, if that alone could calm the baby down.
