  • Marx thought the human race would advance with the technology but it hasn't & not everyone pulls their weight & reaches their full potential & development. We will always need leaders, government, the military & police & security & a justice system for law breakers. Marx's dream sounds good in theory but in reality never works because money & power corrupts & one person controls it all.

  • @WINGGULLSEAGULL

Power corrupts... but then you go on to say we need military, police, and government :)

  • no not people before profits and universal healthcare, but federal ownership and domination of the means of production and just about everything else . have you even read the communist manifesto?

  • @naegling3

Yeah I've read it, obviously you haven't. There is nothing about the communist model being federal or government controlled; it's about common ownership by the working class. End game communism has no government at all; everything is owned collectively. Federal ownership is NOTHING like that at all.

  • @malignantpoodle oh pray tell, how in your ideal communist society, is this ownership by the masses (collectively) executed and managed in a practical way?

  • @naegling3

    By popular consensus.

But really, if you have to ask, it shows which one of us didn't read it :)

  • The CPUSA sounds like a bunch of revisionists. I would say that the Revolutionary Communist Party is closer to what you might want. Problem is its so small that it practically has no power. And its Maoist if that is something you think about. As for me Maoism is closer to me.

  • I thought this was a very thoughtful analysis from someone who has been there.

  • I was beginning to like the CPUSA but.... after hearing this it reminds me of stalin or mao --> no real communists, betrayed communism/turned theyre back on the communist principles. Sad story.

  • @WINGGULLSEAGULL

oh also anarchy means: enterily no staate, this is more then just having leaders or not, in anarchy the entire state isnt there, therefore also no laws etc. This is a totaly different idiology.

  • @WINGGULLSEAGULL

nope we dont, in a proleterian democracy there is no need for leaders, the people are the leader. In a socially strong society, a proletarian democracy can exist. Hence there will be no need for real leaders, like in any democracy there will be, but the power stays within the people, and its easy for them to replace him immidiately once he gets corrupted.

  • Vote People for Socialist Liberation to know that you as a worker are going to be voteing for your own interests, not that of the 1%,VOTE PSL!!!

  • A future society with no leaders & government ?? On what planet ? Allow me to burst your idealistic bubble but that sounds like a recipe for anarchy. The human race isn't advanced enough to be self governing Marxists. Communism can only result from a very advanced capitalist society. Karl Marx said "Communism is the highest & final stage of development". "The free development for each is the free development for all". "The liberation of individuality rather than the imposition of uniformity".
