well the singer was great and so was his playing
Grafton is about 15 min from me
check my channel out , i did a cover of Tommy Dadisman's Fire in the hole
i have alot of freinds who are coal miners , and alot of their fathers and grandfathers were coal miners
up where i live in the little comunitly of Independence there used to be a company town called Liilian
down by the Tygert river long since gone
I seen Kathys version of it
some fool wrote in calling a Tipple a temple lol

@1958wvpicker Thanks, although the singer was the one with the talent. As for the pictures, nothing beats google. Listened to the song bit by bit, and searched for related photos. I downloaded 57 pictures, used about 32 of them. Anyway, my grandpa and 2grandfather were both miners and later mine inspectors. I have vivid memories of going into a mine with my grandpa when I was eight. I recently drove through Grafton WV, the now-dying town my mom came from. This piece really resonates with me.
