@hhds113 It didn't give, it just looks like it changes direction because of the FPS to rotor speed ratio factoring in the angular movement of the helicopter. It gives the illusion of a reversing blade. If you loose the rear rotor you don't just go down you spin uncontrollably.

why dont they come up with a back-up system for the tail rotor??? got 2 be a way to go electric-if its hydraulic-or visa virsa???

Pilot was thirsty... It sounds like the 30mm cannon on an A-10 thunderbolt going off when the rotors strike the water.. lullz.

Doesn't look like a fuel thing. If you look closely looks like the rear tail rotor gave. I work on helicopters. Almost as if the drive shaft to the rear rotors snapped. Virtually if you lose that tail rotor you lose your stabilizers. Therefor falling right back to the ground/water spinning of control.
