Coast Guard Crisis: Update

After broadcasting a story about the Coast Guard on April 4th, I was viified, mocked and ridiculed. Now that the Justice Department is conducting its own investigiation, this "Update Report" emphasizes even more the crisis in which the Coast Guard finds itself ... in today's episode of KBTV!

Thank you for your comments. But I think I did distinguish between the goons in the a) Bush Amdinistration and b) in the private sector ... anyway, I tried to be abundantly clear about how much I admire the men and women in the Coast Guard and in the (other) Armed Forces ... They're my heros :-)

Yes, this time you did make that distinction. Last time, it wasn't so clear. I was also saying, in the future, to make it clear. When CG is said, instead of the govt., it leaves you open to interpretation. Like if someone says, America sucks I'm not going to think they're talking about just Bush, but the whole country.

Also thank you for posting that the CG is a part of the Armed Forces. It gets overlooked a lot because the CG isn't in DOD, but they are a military branch.

how about when you put pictures in a video they are actually coast guard, the majority of thoes pictures arent even coast guard, there is canadian CG or maybe rnli, Navy etc, poor placement of that, however i agree th cg is rather thin

The coast guard spread thin? Well thank you captain obvious, the NEW YORK CITY Police Dept. is larger then the US COAST GUARD. The coast guard is the smallest branch of the 5 armed services. Want us to cover more water? Have congress give us more funding, more people, more facilities and more boats and helicopters. until then, hush!

There are way to many things wrong with this report first of all Those pictures are way out dated and most of them aren't even pictures of the CG lol and if those pictures are out dated then it's really hard to take the rest of them seriously and tells me that she didn't put alot of time and research into this report. It wasn't even a CG helo, it was an Air Force HH-60G Pavehawk, the picture at 4:58 is not even the U.S. Coast Guard, it's Her Majesty's CG in the UK. WTF?
