To me the best RE games are:

1- Resident Evil Gamecube Remake

2- Resident Evil 4

Horror games: Amnesia: The Dark Descent, Penumbra, Silent Hill games, older RE games (if you don't mind the graphics)

RPG: Skyrim, the Witcher 2, Dragon Age

Adventure: Far Cry 3, Max Payne 3, Alan Wake (horror/adventure), Spyro series

Also I would most definitely recommend GTA 4, Total War Shogun 2, Left 4 Dead 2, Torchlight 2, Trine 2, Mark of the Ninja.

These are the some of the best games ever made in my opinion. Try them and let me know what you think.

Absolutely not worth $60. There are much much better games you can get for less money, trust me. Depending on game genres you like I can recommend a lot of games to you.

I have been playing resident evil 5 recently.. I find its alright, there are some cheesy cuts scenes though, so your saying its not worth to buy resident evil 6? Yes silent hill is a good game the one where your trapped in a room.

That list would be very long but would most certainly include games like Witcher 2 and Skyrim, some Silent Hill games etc.

This game received terrible reception from both reviewers and the gaming community. They have turned the RE franchise into a big fucking joke.
