Highlights of the Match between Tees Valley Mohawks vs London United filmed and edited by the "We are Golden" Youth Media Group supported by the BME Network in association with Hoop Dreams.

Tees Valley Mohawks remain hot on the heels of Bradford following their 93-86 home win against London United-Harefield Academy.

The game started brightly for the Mohawks as they went into an early lead with baskets from Ralph Bucci and Acho Anyigbo. London's up-tempo and aggressive defence paid off with Marius Poskus getting some easy fast-break baskets as they cut the Mohawks lead to 22-15 at the end of the quarter.

London took their first lead in the game as Andy Harper started to find his range and Bode Adeluola hit back-to-back threes. Lee McLaughlin and Eric Milambo got the Mohawks back on track with some good shooting as Tees Valley lead at the break 38-37.

The third quarter again saw baskets traded with Harper and Bucci scoring for their teams, but a change of tactics of a box and one on their main threat Andy Harper saw Mohawks go on a 12-0 scoring spree. Michael Thompson hit two big three pointers during this spell and the Mohawks lead at the end of the third 67-55.

London were forced to foul to stop the clock late in the fourth and Will Spragg and Ralph Bucci hit their free throws to wrap things up.

"This was a very important win for us tonight," said Mohawks coach Steve Butler. "We've got a very tough game next week against Hemel so we needed to go into that game on the back of a win. I have the utmost respect for United who play fast-tempo basketball and with the likes of Harper, Poskus and [Daniel] Szatkowski they can hurt any team in this league. Ralph was in fine form again but Acho Anyigbo, Eric Milambo and Michael Thompson all stepped up again to help us achieve this victory."
