I just closed my eyes and played all the fingerings for the trumpet part for the whole song. That was the most relaxing thing I've experienced in awhile.

@bruteshot473 hey bud, not hatin. just the nature of trumpet players. we all gotta be cocky or else we'd play french horn or something. ; ) I , for example, made both midstate and allstate jazz the first year (we start trying out as sophomores). Plus varsity on a top in state ranked cross country team, class officer, and a 4.0 GPA. Keep up the work, freshmen, and keep well rounded. that's important.

@tikwonjon Why do you have to hate? I played it in eighth grade and I made it (with a TON of preparation) into the top band in my high school against 7 juniors and 8 seniors with only 5 spots open, I'm a freshman. I only got 2nd but that's to be expected, I also made lead trumpet in District 8 Jazz in our state. I'm also going to allstate and taking lead there too. I practice 30 hours a week with private lessons on Monday Wednesday and Friday. I work hard and still manage to get a 4.0 GPA. SKILL
