I do not care who this man ''sleeps'' with. He is willing to die for his country and my freedom. He has an exceptional record and is well spoken and respected in his regime. No one should care who anyone else sleeps with as long as everyone consents, and is an adult. Let him serve! I am proud to call him an American! Semper Fi!!

Sexism and racism have most certainly NOT been defeated. There is still an extraordinary amount of inequality along racial, gender and class lines. The coverage of Hilary Clinton & Barack Obama's presidential campaigns proves that. However, it IS wonderful to see the progress being made. Dan Choi and others like him are heroes. They do what I couldn't for this country. I have nothing but respect for them

@angela80808 You should write a historical Kdrama based on your ancestors. A very interesting story. Yes, there are about 2 million ethnic Koreans in China right now also. Hong, 홍, is Korean and Chinese means "wide" or "big".
There are 200+ Hong clans in Korea.

@angela80808 Manchuria was a part of ancient Korean dynasty and nothern border of Korean peninsula went to China part of the time. You must be talking about Korea's three dynasty period (actually there were four dynasties including one in southern Korea.) I guess you have Korean blood from your father's side. My last name is Lee and it's from the last dynasty of Korea (Third King's 2nd prince branch.) Lee's ancesters are from Manchuria according to some study but not confirmed.

@classicpiano123 did you know that the koreans were chinese in the ancient time?the reason i know this it's because we share alot of names obviuosly.then amazingly i found out that korea it's part of china in the ancient times owing to my father's family history, there are 3 kingdoms and 3 different emperors.my ancestors are emperors back in 2000 yrs ago.so korea is my ancestors' families as well it's their country.:-)
