Kijkersvraag: Hoeveel crematie-as is afkomstig van de kist, en hoeveel van de overledene

De redactie van Uitvaart.tv kreeg onlangs de volgende vraag van een van haar kijkers:

Pas geleden is mijn oma gecremeerd. Nu hebben wij vorige week samen met de familie de as opgehaald. Maar ik vraag me nu eigenlijk af hoeveel as in de urn er afkomstig is van mijn oma en hoeveel as eigenlijk van de kist?

we clean them out totally, that is just stupid to think we wouldn't , yes i work at a crematorium no we don't mix peoples ashes together , how can we tell? we're not blind maybe?

@NiallatUTube. I've always thought that too!!! Wondering if an other person's ashes get mixed in a bit!!! I think they do sweep up quite well between cremations!

How can you be absolutely sure that you get ALL of a person's ashes out of the furnace? My worry is that these furnaces are never absolutely clear of the previous person's ashes, so they all get a bit mixed ashes.
