i have a 2000 Chevy single cab with the 4.3L. I don't know much of anything about engines, so could someone message me the links to where i could get a simple turbo or a way to gain HP and "speed". My engine is all stock as of right now.

@snakesonaplane2 The 4.3 is a great motor...very realiable and parts are cheap. Pretty ballsy for what it is. It depends where you look for headers. Pacesetter has headers on ebay right now for $181.97 with free shipping

@jeffosho usually catbacks help a bit but not much, it's headers that do the trick but 4.3 headers cost an arm and a leg, i'd rather swap in a V8 at that point but the Vortec 4.3 is pretty good in small trucks, buddy of mine has a regular cab S10 with the 4.3 and a 5spd and 2WD, it's a quick little truck

@snakesonaplane2 Talked to the owner...I guess the pipe before the setup rusted out (thank's wisconsin winters) and he replaced it. Just a minor increase in mileage and obviously sound. Not really noticeable power-wise
-
@jeffosho cool, also is there a noticable difference from stock to that catback, as far as power increase and/or mileage increase? the stock muffler on Blazer's is massive and the tailpipe is tiny so i figure this catback must help a lot in both area's
-
@snakesonaplane2 I do not as of now, but i'll take one as soon as I can and post it as a video response to this video. Or you could subscribe and wait for it. It probably is much louder

@jeffosho do you have any vids of this Blazer now? after 2 years the packing inside has to be gone, bet it sounds even better, i want my buddy to put one on his 04 Blazer

Hmm...I should get this for my Jimmy.
@sledhead94 A catback refers to anything from the catalytic convertor back, regardless of how many inlets or outlets it may have.
