They charged my mom $3,700. That's 5 months RENT for us. I called them maybe 8 times...yelled at various " supervisors" for about 6 hours total and got the bill down to $275. No kidding. AT&T is so full of shit it pains me.

I plan to travel outside US, and I want to use my iPhone 4 like iPod touch to use the service such as camera, app game,...what is the best way to avoid data roaming? Can I just take the Sim card out when I landed to different country, and put the Sim Card back in when I landed back in US Los Angeles?

If you are important enough to go on business trips internationally, you are smart enough to have read the contract stating it was a nationwide plan where international usage is biled separately. And I'm sure they re-rated the guy to an international data feature such as $59.99 for 50 megabytes... Probably needed the 100mb or 200mb plan though...
