'Horses for Orphans' Project, Brazil Nov 2009.

This is footage of the start of the Horses for Orphans project at "Betel Children's Home" in Brazil. It shows how children learned to help wild and abused horses overcome their fears with the help of Richard & Ingela Larsson Smith and Katy Overton. It highlights the story of a challenging horse called Febre and a boy named Antonio who had never ridden before. Through this experience Antonio's life was changed. He become open, accepted and 2 years later he was one of the best boys in the H-Factor Programme at Betel.

Horses for Orphans is transforming the lives of orphans and at risk to be street children.
In learning how to think like a horse, and by becoming leaders who use gentleness and trust instead of force and fear, the children begin to understand their own journey to healing.
The children in the Horses for Orphans projects can advance through a programme called the H-Factor to gain the necessary skills to pursue a career with horses. The H-Factor System will give them the foundation they need to pursue a career with horses and help them get out of poverty.

The 'Horses for Orphans' projects are lead by Richard & Ingela Larsson Smith.

Lonely children with scared horses and a couple people sent from God to teach them how to love and trust each other. This ministry moves my heart very deeply. I'll be watching for ways to help...
