Four top Democrats say it's time for uncommitted superdelegates to make their choices.
The statement from Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean and West Virginia Governor Joe Manchin says the party has come to the end of an ``exciting primary and caucus process.''
Manchin heads the Democratic Governors' Association.
The leaders are urging all remaining uncommitted superdelegates to make their decisions known by Friday of this week so that the party can ``stand united.''
Officials say Senator Ben Cardin of Maryland is ready to endorse Barack Obama today.
Last night Obama declared himself the Democratic nominee after the polls in the final two primary states closed. While Clinton won in South Dakota, Obama won Montana.
The Illinois senator has more than the 2,118 delegates needed to seal the nomination. But Clinton has stopped short of getting out of race.
Regardless if we win the war or not, It was wrong. Bullies win fights, but should we reward them?
