Project Sunshine opens Toronto Stock Exchange, September 22, 2011.

Project Sunshine Canada's Young Patrons Circle (YPC) joined Mary Lou Hukezalie, Vice President, Human Resources, TMX Group to open the market to mark their first Shine On fundraiser. YPC is a diverse group of young professionals dedicated to raising awareness and funds for Project Sunshine Canada. Project Sunshine is a nonprofit organization that provides free educational, recreational and social programs to children facing medical challenges and their families. The organization works with hospitals to determine where their help is needed most and sends chapters of volunteers to fill these needs. In Toronto, Project Sunshine Canada programs are run at The Hospital for Sick Children, Mt. Sinai Hospital, North York General Hospital, Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, South Lake Regional Health Centre, Brampton Civic Hospital and the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic.
