I went to art school from 16 years on and started workin as a pro illustrator at 18. I then started an 3 year animation apprenticeship at 23 years old. was designing ever since. the trick is, to get around old pro's and master artists and learn from them. learning by doing so to say. I spent more than 8 years drawing at least 8 hours a day. the harder the tasks, the more you learn. and as I said, inspiration from the big guys is a must. that still counts for me as well.
