I think this is awesome! Not only did I have heart surgery, I'm actually going to school to be a Child Life Specialist. It's awesome to see others in the profession working, and to hear other people say what I've felt about Child Life. It's just confirmation that I'm doing what I'm supposed to be doing =)

I know one of the surgeons at this hospital very well. And I am very impressed to see that everything he say sis true about ACH. It's a hard job seeing children who are injured or get sick and help them get through so much. But it's amazing the people who can do it.

I've been in 'n' outta hospitals here in Norway my whole life from birth because o' beein' born with Spina Bifida Myelomeningocele 'n' if I'd been treated this good back when I was a kid, my life would be a whole lot better, calmer, happier 'n' easier today. I'm really impressed with what I've seen o' the small clips about pediatric 'n' child life nurses 'n' doctors here on youtube although it does bring back subconscious 'n' conscious memories 'n' experiences that I've tried to forget. ThankYou

This brought tears to my eyes. I was introduced to the "child life specialist" position today in one of my psych classes. It excites me and this video makes me want to go into this field.
