  • This way worked wonderfull! Thanks!

  • Great video... I as well, worked on mine for hours too.. Your method got my spring back in its home..

    Thank you..!!

  • Thank you! I'll try your method as I have my generator out of work since the autumn because of that damn spring (was trying to replace the rope, of course).

  • Thanks for this video, a genius method that saved me hours of cursing the spring as it unwound. Wish I had viewed it sooner!

  • Excellent! I was able to install the coil/pulley together without the wire ties. It took some wiggling and twisting, but didn't have to worry with getting the inside spring hook in the slot. After hours of trying to hand wind it, this worked. THANKS

  • Great tip, I have been fighting with my Honda 110 atc recoil for 30 minutes. Thanks for the great tip. Great movie!

  • thanks mate thats great advice, this thing has been driving me nuts

  • I can't tell you how much your video helped me replace the unwound recoil spring on my Poulan chain saw.. I was prepared to spend about four hours doing it and after watching your video I did it in about 10 minutes! Thanks so much!

  • I removed my spring from my Homelite and your video was very helpful. I too took hours trying to get it back in until I came across your video (as per my wife's suggestion...hmm). Thank you!

  • thank you very much!
