I remember the first time I heard one of those on oahu, I was in the bathroom and those sirens went off.. I thought we were under attack!
I didnt realize that they did a test at the first of every month at 11:45!

Ha-Ha I remember the begining of every month, growing up like 100 feet away from this siren on Lumi Street in Crestview. I remember thinking I was cool because I wouldn't be scared while my brother and my cousins were. That was almost thirty years ago. Mahalo

Great video! That Thunderbolt sounds exactly the same one I recorded in Harper Woods Vetrans Memorial park. I think that Thunderbolt chopper level is ether high voltage 5 or low voltage 6.
