My wish is that everyone who witnesses this beautiful art form will have good, appreciative, and admirable thoughts about the dance and the dancer.
About what you said about attraction. I feel that the attraction that one feels as they watch a woman is respectful attraction. Admiring the beauty, skill, and grace that the dancer has. This attraction is good. It develops good thoughts.

I do not take it sexual at all. I am different from most men.
I appreciate it as a dance and art.
If what you say dictates if a dance is sexual or not, then salsa, regaetton, and ballroom dancing is sexual too.
Some women like seeing men dance salsa, etc. and my have sexual thoughts about the guy too.
Belly dancing is not sexual. Sexual dances involve body contact, men and women, or contact with a pole or something like that.

Belly dancers don't only dance for men, but for women and children. In fact, most professional belly dancers only dance when there are many children and women in the audience. It's incorrect to say they dance for a specific gender.
And there is nothing in the Quran or hadiths (depending on which ones you accept as authentic) that says anything against dancing.
Belly dance is not sexual, there is nothing sexual about the dance. Sensual is not the same thing as sexual.

That is good to hear.
I wish that you and many other dancers Egyptian and other nationalities bring back her style.
It is time for the golden age of belly dance to come back.

beautiful!!!!!! now thats what you call belly dancing!!!
This is the very spirit and essence of belly dance.
I love Egyptian Raqs, it is my favorite type of oriental dance.
Samia Gamal is so gorgeous and is one of the legends of Egyptian Raqs Sharqi.
BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL DANCE,
100% Pure Art,
There are sure to be young dancers who look up to Samia Gamal and other Egyptian legends.
I hope that young dancers(now or in the future) revive the fame of these famous dancers.
