Here is the link to the Halodoom COS Official Beta : http://www.forestbear.net/ and optionally, optimal settings and instructions for using them. Features include a fully playable Campaign level, a fully playable Firefight/Invasion level, and three Multiplayer maps. A couple of things to note : This is a total conversion made for the skulltag engine only (as of right now)

This was made specifically for use with the OpenGL renderer, as it is completely model based and has many dynamically lit areas. There are a few flags that should always be set in order for the game to run best, these include a resolution of at least 1280x720, Smart Auto aim set to Never Friendly, Announcer set to Halo Announcer, and Sprite Billboard set to x/y axis. Although these are not necessary, they would alter the playing experience in a negative way.

This is still a beta build and thus may be subject to some minor bugs, if you have any questions or comments feel free to comment on this video or send me a message and I will try to assist. Enjoy!

  • @Wormfan100 Use the current skulltag revision

  • I dont see my guy in the game and idont have player skins and i cant see any enemies

  • @Wormfan100 There are a few solutions, first make sure you are playing in opengl and not software, if you are in opengl, either use the recommended settings file found on the site, or type gl_models_use true into the console

  • This is a great mod but, approximately when will this done.

  • Awesome!

  • I just played this and holy crap, good job with this mod! just take your time with this. do you think there is any possibility that the 3d models could look up and down instead of just looking straight forward?

  • Hm...I think it needs to be about 20% faster. I mean doom is ment for fast paced gameplay after all.

  • @sirfragalot92 hmm, maybe, i never played it, so idk, but out of the doom mods i have played, this is the best

  • @OZetsuiO Maybe you should contact the Actiondoom guy his mail is (from the website) ray_stantz AT hotmail DOT com.
