@ryanoco7 Exactly my point. Why bother doing an exercise that has an extremely limited range of movement? I've seen guys at the gym do this and lat pull downs with their necks touching the bar. I'm not telling people not to do this, merely as I stated before pointing out the inherent risks of an exercise that I believe has more negatives than positives. Might as well work on something like muscle ups instead. Less risk, higher benefits.

@ryanoco7 Yes and your neck has to be bent considerably in order to accommodate a full range of motion for this exercise. Hell, I have a friend who herniated a disc by bending over a sink to wash her hair.

@sdmf1982 He would be fine as long as he didn't hit the back of his neck on the bar. Behind the neck presses and pulls are hard on the rotator cuff, but as long as you don't have any past shoulder injuries you should be fine. In the film, he was limiting his own range of motion by only going half way down...
