    This looks like so much fun. But seriously: how could Crimson say it would be called satanic? It's like a grown up way of playing pretend. They're having fun dressing up and playing in the woods with foam .... weapons. Who hasen't done that one time or another in life? Come on, it's a game!

    Lucas Horatio Ironclawe (Barrington)...Is tough as nails...with foam wood or steel. He is the real deal...he could IN REAL LIFE...compete all out no holding back with anyone in the SCA or any larp...etc. a true paladin at heart.

    Being a Christian who RP's myself let me answer this... Her family comes from a very legalistic group (seventh day Adventist) who view magic in any form as evil because the power doesn't come from God. I would wager that her father would even find Narnia "Satanic" despite C.S. Lewis being an amazing theologian

    Wooden weapons are fine to use, even sharpened. Some LARP groups allow hard hits in legal areas.

    I wish the LARP organizers would let us do battle like they do in europe, its like "Put mein little bit of ict padding on ze hard steele sword, un you are ready to fight'enstein" And they proceed to actually fight, no lame pauses or illegal zones. Also none of that fail "Lightening bolt! Lightening Bolt!"
