  • They say the husband is always the last to know, so I am sorry that you were soooo down about the 1 lb... You might want to consider how to stop beating yourself up! Still proud of you and that silly lb I am sure is already gone, babe. On the bright side there is Tuna; Spam Lite: Foammy Protein...yummm-bo =LOL=

  • @jonkeithwilson Thanks for the encouragement babe! I love you!

  • 1lb. No big deal. There will be many weeks with gains but there will be many, many more with losses! -Congrats on not giving up on yourself. It's so easy to do when you are this far out of your comfort zone. You should be really proud of yourself! :)

  • @kacykwinn Thank you! This is why I love this community....Everyone is so encouraging and supportive....just what I needed...Thanks!!!

  • If feel your frustration on the 1 lb gain.... A bump in the road....I also identify with the difficulty on the c25k training. This is my second time around The first time I stopped at the end of week 6 and now I am approaching week 6. Just give it what you can!!!!!!!! Too funny "Ghetto" Ill have to get me the spam light. never had it ! I LOVE JROBB protein!! chocolate is yummy I mix it with coffee also! YUM!

  • @melijean36 We will try the JRobb protein..thanks for the suggestion. Good luck with your C25K....I know you can do it!

  • @tdoubleu10 Good for you! For all my encouragement, I am finding it REALLY hard to get off the couch this morning and go exercise myself!

  • @Melissalosesitall thanks Melissa! I'm in a better frame of mind today...I'm kinda looking forward to starting week 4 next week........kinda. LOL

  • @jenontheband Thank you for the encouragement! I did day 3 of week 3 this morning and it was tough, but I stayed focused and got it done.

  • @wade2uskinny thanks for the tip about the pudding...I think I'll try it!

  • I did the C25K & I still gained & lost daily. I also had a hard time with hunger until I got to my sweet spot & with WL the sweet spot would go away & I would have to get another fill to find the sweet spot again & again. I started at size 18-20 & now am a 2 ( I'm 5'2"). I exercise every day for a min. of 30min X 2. I like putting Costco protein shake in instant jello instead of milk & making a protein pudding for a treat or to eat when I want a meal of veggies & have pudding a few hrs later.

  • Look, honey, you are RUNNING and you weigh over 260 pounds. Think about that...that in itself is AMAZING! I can only imagine what this will be like for you when you've lost some more. With the 20 I have lost so far, I notice that my knees no longer hurt when I exercise. It WILL get better...promise! I also have NO restriction and I know how frustrating that is...I actually go for my first fill today. I think the hunger/weight gain is stressful but this too shall pass! Hang in there...

  • Awww! I understand your frustration with the gain. Unfortunately, it is part of the journey, and you have to back up and focus on the overall trend. You are NOT a wuss for having difficulty with the C25K. On Facebook, I get posts from the C25K group all the time. Tiny, skinny people have difficulty. So, don't get down about it. You have already done more than most people! Just keep going...even if you repeat workouts. Hang in there!!! Hmmm... Spam Lite - on my next list!
