@reichmarshall MGM couldn't do anything right for Buster, where he often worked alone, they needed 8 writers to spend 2 months writing a script for him just for it to be no good.

@UglySean Actually Buster had a lovely speaking voice and was looking forward to Hollywood's transition to talkies. Unfortunately he had signed on to MGM at that point, and they had other plans.

@akaRubyHeart - But it paid the bills, kept his name (and face) in front of people (like me) who never saw him at his best in the movies, and made people go back to see those movies and make us remember him as the great comedian he was.
