how is an $80,000 top of the line viper fair against a $40,000 base C5 vette? atleast make it a 2001-2004 Z06 so its about 200 lbs lighter and 40-60hp better from the factory than the base c5 and that makes a hell of a difference.

c6z06 looks better , is built better and sound alot better .Dodge products are nothing but junk.Much better in the longrun with a gm product.

@Onfire4Christ777 Well no shit it would be a different outcome. this is a 3rd generation viper from 2003 against the corvette from around the same year, i'd like to see the same mods on a z06 and on a viper and see who wins. Ohohoho!

Sad part is you can tell it is a C5 not even a C6....i'd like to see the same mods on the C6 or even the C6Z06. C5 base models had the LS1. C5Z06 had the LS6. Atleast the C6 has the LS2 with 400hp @ the crank / LS3 w/ 430 compared to the 340-350 from the LS1 and 385 from the LS6. I think the same race against the C6 models would be decent. Different outcome completely but decent....oh lol forgot to mention the LS7 with the 505hp @ the crank =D So yeah most definitely a different outcome.
