  • That's the voice of veteran radio/TV announcer Ken Roberts, who delivered a lot of these "intermission" spots in the late '40s and early '50s.

  • I remember this as a little kid when my parents, sisters and I went to a (now long since torn down) drive-in on old U.S. 25 south of Anna, OH

  • Movie theaters should have like, 5 minute intermissions. It's tough sitting in one place for hours!

  • Good, 'cause I like my coffee steaming. But I don't feel like getting up and walking over to the snack bar. Got any of those servers on rollerskates?

  • Looks late-1940s, early-1950s to me.

  • Well, I am not a child of the 50's or 60's, but much like the current trend, I suspect coffee was a big hit. Booze too-just watch a little old Hollywood, and they drank like fish. :)

  • What year is this?

  • who has coffee while watching a movie?XD

  • Thanks for this info. I hear that voice a lot on these intermission clips.

  • Great video! I love that vintage films!
