@battlecatnew who cares? its a freaking movie.. if you want history go read a book ore watch a documantary.. This is a freaking movie its supposed to entertain not to explain things.. go make your own damn movies if you know so good how this history went. If you actually know some background stuff. Most parts of the movie are actually correct. Like the female situation in the Spartan society.

I agree. I think it should be taken as Dillios( eye patch Spartan) trying to round up the Spartans before the final epic battle. So, it would seem logical to frabricate certain events.

I'm not a hater of 300 but please it's hardly a realistic recount of this battle. If it was realistic it would be much more like what you're saying. Well, of course, there'd be a battle and there's hatred no doubt about it but none of the characters even has the slightest humanity in them. Plus there wouldn't be absurd monsters with knives for hands going round chopping peoples heads off or... mutants and whatever other ludicrously conceived creature in it. Overall, 300 is just some dumb fun. --

I thought 300 looked like a gay parade that got out of hand. Gym bunnies roaring and doing ballet with a sword. It wasn't very good to be honest. However I will admit I enjoyed it! It was quite fun while it lasted.
