@chilekasoleil I have read Purple Hibiscus (My first Adichie novel) and AWESOME does not even describe it! She's really good. Like really REALLY good. I'm a fan :) Now Im reading Half A Yellow Sun :))

There were a host of writers and lecturers mostly from the University of Nigeria. Ali Mazrui also spoke prior to Chimamanda on that day. I'll post his speech soon. You may watch the speeches by Prof. Chinua Achebe and Prof Wole Soyinka under my account.
