  • What PC specs do you have? Cuz with mine 512mb sdram, 1.8ghz intel celeron can't even put a pad without causing my pc to lag so much with the asio drivers.. So, tell me, what PC do I need to have to create such rich melodies like yours (I know how to make them, just my PC is too damn weak for them) and to use a lot of compressors in the background? Thanks! Perfect song btw

  • @svircheto My PC atm is an Intel i7 920, 6GB RAM, all stock setting. I find this setup works very well so far. I used to produce on a laptop with 4GB RAM and a 2.26 dual core (and still do sometimes!), one of the best tricks is to render the sounds to WAV, especially pads, so they don't eat up too much CPU. If you are looking to upgrade definitely go more than 2 cores, and 4GB min will help a lot =D

  • Hey bro, great track as i produce too... the breakdown melody jst kills it well done. erm i,ve always wanted to create that sweep effect you have is there a way you can do a tutorial and explain you made that sweep so uplifting like as if im listenin to andy bluemans

  • @HigherState001 With the sweeps, the best way is to lay down 3xOSC and set all oscillators to Noise. You should get like a static sound. Then from there you can filter it in and out with LowPass and HighPass filters, add crazy effects like Phasing and Flanging, and EQ it. I'll do a tutorial on breakdowns later on =]

  • Very nice work! Iam self producer and what i like about this track is its very chill, Not that very energy i like uplifting trance to be, Quality work its really nice, Even ithink sidechain is about simpel worked, I would like the pad be sidechained whole time even in nonbeat sections on the songs, And another synth work maybe had puch the song abit more beacuse sadly same melody sound was basic played for 7min stright from begining to end.

Dont get me wrong, Its nice track. Keep on working

  • @TerraNation Thank you for the in-depth comment. I have improved a lot since this track, but I still take your tips into consideration, especially about the sidechaining and repetition =]
