The BCS sucks. Why not let every conference winner go play in a major bowl game, have a final four and we wouldnt need to talk about this. Theyre too much parity in college football to not have a playoff.

... have good enough competition so that's their main problem next to them choking to weaker competition. So let's drop it one conference may be the best but that doesn't mean the best team is in it. Until we have a playoffs we will never now who the best is.

Would people just drop the whole SEC vs. Big XII crap it's old. In my honest opinion the SEC is the best top to bottom conference in the country and the Big XII south is the toughest division but the Big XII north isn't what it was when Nebraska, Kansas St., and Colorado each were more than capable of knocking off south teams. Oklahoma's offense was overrated hands down but if they have no defense like SEC fans say then I don't see how Florida only managed to score 24 on them. USC doesn't ...

The fact that the Big 12 has two defenses in the top 80 may seem to support your point. But the real reason for this is that they have the best quarterbacks, top to bottom, that any conference in the history of College Football has ever had.
Come talk to me in 10 years when guys most SEC fans have never heard of, like Reesing, are dominating the NFL.

I agree, the Big 12 gets several top recruits every year on both offense and defense, yet the defensive players fail to show up(save for Orakpo). And I do know what I'm talking about. The Big 12 has two defenses ranked in the top 80 nationally. And every Big 12 champion since 2004 has given up at least 38 points in their bowl game.

Yeah, you're right...the Big 12 has the best recruits EVERY year, but all the 5 star guys are on offense. Sure.

Well, it is absurd. For years, the media (and the BCS) has assumed that the SEC is the best conference in the nation, and it honestly ticks me off.
USC would win the SEC if they were down south, and we all know how overrated they are....
