to be honest Poetry Man didnt make an appearance in the uk chart and miss snow isnt really well known. thats a real shame as her work was both inventive and soulfull.
as stated by others, this is the don covay song (with a few different chords thrown in) called "have mercy" and not the "mercy mercy mercy" of cannonball aderly and later the buckinghams. i will remember her by "gone at last" with paul simon - a spine tingling spiritual with a title so poignant.

The Buckinghams did a cover in the 60's & Adderly too!
But this version (which is great) unfortunately did not make it like it should have!
